A: ABOUT OUR HISTORY
Inter School/Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship was introduced to Trinidad and Tobago by Mrs. Ruby Thompson in 1956. After witnessing the transformation work of Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) in the life of students at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica, she was encouraged to start a similar group in Trinidad and Tobago. On her return she formed the first Inter School Christian Fellowship (ISCF) club at St. George’s College, Barataria.

C: CULTURE
The IS/IVCF club is not a church and is non-denominational. It is a club that includes those who are seeking Jesus Christ as Lord and have a desire to walk according to His teachings.
Club meetings are open to all persons from different backgrounds.
At the primary school level ISCF volunteers teach Religious Instruction for one class period per week.
At the secondary level, each group would usually be sponsored/facilitated by a Christian teacher of the given school.
In our tertiary groups, a willing Christian faculty member usually acts as an advisor.
